Most bonnets hold on with a thin elastic, so they slide off while you sleep. Ours has a wide, soft velvet band inside the rim with tiny silicone grip dots, the same idea wig wearers use.

Round rod vs. our flat band
The flat curl band
Made for side sleepers.
Round heatless rods are about 2 inches thick. Lie on your side and you're sleeping on a pool noodle, and it slips out. Our band is flat: about 1.6 inches wide and under an inch thick.

The fabric
Real mulberry silk. Not sweaty polyester.
Most “satin” bonnets are polyester. It traps heat and feels like a plastic bag on your head. Ours is lined with 100% mulberry silk, smooth on your hair and cool on your skin.

Will it stay on if I sleep on my side?
That's what it's built for. The velvet grip band holds the bonnet at your hairline, and the curl band is flat, so there's nothing round pushing it off. We're filming a real 8-hour test and will post it right here.
Does it work on short hair?
The curl band needs hair that reaches at least your shoulders. The bonnet works for any length.
Does my hair need to be wet?
No. Use dry or slightly damp hair, about 80% dry. Soaking wet hair won't dry overnight.
Will I get hot in it?
Silk breathes much better than polyester satin, which is what makes most bonnets feel hot. The band is soft velvet, not a tight elastic.
Which size do I need?
Pick by hair length. Long fits hair from your shoulders to your chest. XL is for hair past your chest or very thick hair.
How do I wash it?
Hand wash cold with a gentle detergent and lay flat to dry. No dryer, no bleach.
What is the Curl-Lock Cream?
A light styling cream you work into your hair before you wrap it. It helps your curls keep their shape through the day. Full ingredient list and size will be listed here before launch.
When will my order arrive?
Every set is packed for you after you order and ships within a few days. Delivery in the US is free and duties are paid. You see your expected delivery date before you pay.
Can I return it?
For hygiene reasons we don't take back worn bonnets, curl bands or opened cream. If anything arrives damaged, wrong or missing, we send a free replacement.
